ROCK 'N' ROLL MARATHON SERIES
One of the nation’s premiere sporting events, the P.F. Chang's Rock 'N' Roll Arizona Marathon and Half Marathon welcomes more than 30,000 runners and walkers to the Valley of the Sun each year. The marathon and half-marathon offer fast, flat scenic courses that start in downtown Phoenix, run through Scottsdale and finish at Arizona State University in Tempe. Seventy live bands and 40 local high school cheer squads are staged approximately every mile along the 13.1-mile and 26.2-mile courses. The event concludes with an evening Headline Concert in Tempe that has featured acts such as the Goo Goo Dolls, Collective Soul, Jason Mraz, Kool And The Gang, Smash Mouth and more. All participants in the marathon or half marathon receive a free concert ticket with their race entry.
Entertainment Solutions has had the pleasure of producing P.F. Changs Rock ‘N’ Roll Arizona Marathon and Half Marathon since its inaugural race in 2004. The event set a new world record for the most registrants in a first-time running event with more than 30,000 participants.
In 2009, the ESI Team took on additional races from the Rock 'N' Roll Marathon Series and currently produces the events in Arizona, Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Philadelphia, San Diego and Dallas.
