ROCK 'N' ROLL MARATHON SERIES
Entertainment Solutions began a relationship with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series in January 2004 when our company produced the inaugural P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. The event was record-breaking, hosting over 30,000 runners in its first year. Since then, the race series has grown to include 28 events in cities across the United States, Canada and Europe, 19 of which feature live music produced by Entertainment Solutions.
Entertainment Solutions is happy to have had the opportunity to partner and grow with the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series beyond the Arizona race. In 2006, Entertainment Solutions was contracted to produce course entertainment for the race in Philadelphia, followed by Chicago, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Dallas in 2009, San Diego and Los Angeles in 2010 and St. Louis, Savannah and Miami Beach in 2011. Then in late 2011, Entertainment Solutions was contracted to produce the entertainment for the 2012 and 2013 races in St. Petersburg, Pasadena, Washington, DC, Portland, Providence, Denver and San Jose.
Our company plays an integral role in what makes each Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series event unique and successful: live entertainment along the entire race course. Runners and spectators alike are energized with the best local music from a variety of genres placed on stages along each mile of the race course. Following each race, Entertainment Solutions produces a headlining concert featuring national entertainment for the enjoyment of thousands of runners, their families and friends. Our post-race concerts have included national headliners such as Bret Michaels, Pitbull, Neon Trees, Carolina Liar, Flo Rida, Cobra Starship, Goo Goo Dolls, Collective Soul, Jason Mraz, Smash Mouth, Everclear, Cheap Trick, Sugar Ray, Five for Fighting, Far East Movement, Andy Grammer, Sean Kingston, Vertical Horizon, Bowling For Soup, Kool and the Gang, Donovan Frankenreiter, Susan Tedeschi, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Better Than Ezra, Nada Surf, Karmin and more.
Between booking 20 to 65 local bands for each race, securing staging, sound and generators for each stage along the course and producing every aspect of the post-race headlining concert, Entertainment Solutions leaves its stamp of quality entertainment and event execution on each race.
